Radiological Diagnosis Methods

Not only decayed tooth and inflamed gums are encountered in the mouth. It is commonly acknowledged that the diseases of jawbones and joints, salivary glands, and of all soft tissue in the mouth and tongue are the objects of focus for dentistry.

While these structures and tissues cover a relatively small space, together they create a complicated system. In addition to the naked-eye examination, we use the help of radiological one. Digital periapical roentgen, digital panoramic roentgen, and if necessary, computerised tomography (CT) are in use for radiologic diagnosis.
